Wagmatcookewey School is located on the Wagmatcook First Nation Reserve beside the beautiful Bras D'Or Lakes in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Wagmatcookewey School is the first Primary to Grade 12 Mi'Kmaq First Nation school in Nova Scotia. Wagmatcookewey School follows the core Nova Scotia provincial curriculum supplemented by Mi'kmaq Language, Mi'Kmaq Culture and Mi'kmaq Studies courses for its students in all grades.
