The first church that was built in Waycobah was the Holy Trinity Church in 1912. Some of the earliest priests that came to our missions were Father MacLellan, Father MacNeil, and Father Shangster McDonald between the years of 1924 and the early 1950's. In 1953, Father Raymond McDonald came to our church. A few years later Father McDonald came. Father John Angus Rankin was a well-respected priest that served our church with prayers for many years until his retirement in the early 1990s. After Father Rankin's retirement Father Pius Hawley took over for a couple years. Our present priest is now Father Dan MacLennan.
The prayer leaders for our reserve were John Sam Googoo, Peter Bernard, Andrew Gould, Charles Bernard, Charles Martin, and William Sylliboy.
