Every year the children are expecting a visit from Santa. In our community we have a committee devoted to holding a fundraiser every year to buy gifts for children 10 and under. This event has been around since the early 50’s. The first Santa Clause was Colin Kennedy.
Nowadays the Santa Clause Committee fundraises by having a Santa Clause Show which airs on the community channel, this show presents a lot of local talent. Each year Santa arrives by the firetruck.
